Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born April 16 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been traumatic, and refused to study English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. She dropped out of the high school aged 16 to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
