Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. Biles was the first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals during one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles, along with her siblings Adria and Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded the gold and bronze medals in the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 at the top division of gymnastics competition. Within less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
