Meagan Good's mother Tyra was a teenager at the time she was employed in Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. She grew with her 3 siblings within Canyon Country California, and made her debut in acting when she was just four years old. Early in her career she worked as an extra on television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. at the age of 13, she was cast as Friday in 1995. Her role as Cisely, a troubled teenager on the set of Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. She was awarded two awards which included her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good began with tiny roles in films and television during a short period of time before moving into adult roles in the early 2000s. Her Nickelodeon television show, Cousins Skeeter featured her as Nina. The show ran from 1998-2001. In addition, she had small role on the film House Party, Down to the Very last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. In 2004, she was in D.E.B.S an action-comedy movie that received her nominations in the category of Best Actress on the Black Movie Awards 2005. Following that she appeared in a variety of films, including You GotServed The Cookout Venom one missed call Waistdeep and The Love Guru. In 2012, while working for T.V. Films, she played Mya In Think Like a Man with an ensemble of stars and was the character the character of Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Killmer is originally from Texas was educated at Baylor University Waco Texas where she received an bachelor of fine arts. The performing arts degree was conferred in the year the year 2010. She began her career on screen in the web-series If I Can Dream. After appearing in a variety of local plays Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the first episode in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The series revolved around the group of people who first settled in Hollywood California.
