Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian artist and actor, is best known for her roles in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian home at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was an attorney at the Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister is an Belgian research assistant that lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a in piano class at eight, is identified as an "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatric until the 12th grade exam. She joined The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars in the age of 10. This ensemble shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. Additionally, she worked as a theatre performer in college. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's stage career started with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in an advertisement from Leo with actor Shiva. In 2006, she appeared in a television show that aired on Podhigai. Her performances have been all over India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's climax (2005). When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya she was asked to appear the leading female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani who is married and mother with whom her husband is in love with her. Andrea won the role of Kalyani after Simran Shobana Tabu as well as other actors were asked to audition. The film was released in the early part of the year 2010. In 2011 she agreed to perform a small supporting role that was released early in the year. Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which came out on August 11, 2011. She made her Malayalam film debut by playing the Annayum film of Rajeeev Ratti by Rasoolum in the year 2013.
